Tak sah la kalau datang Berlin tapi tak pi jenguk benda/tempat yang mengGLEMERkan Berlin ni kan...

Senang citer this is a MUST place to go if u're here... Along the roadside from our hotel towards the remains of the wall tu ada dorang letak papan ada gambo2 zaman2 komunis and some interesting stories of that era... Kalau korang rajin and nak menambahkan ilmu pengetahuan pasal war between the germans at that time boleh la baca kat situ...

Aku tak laa baca semuanya... Tak koser la hai... Boleh je google dalam tenet later2... Aku baca Ala2 gitu2 aje but i enjoyed the pictures they have put up there the most! On top of that, i enjoyed taking pictures too! Hahaha....


We're on the East Side (bad regime) when the above pic was taken... So.. We're bad people! Muahahahaha... Chaiyok2!!


Further up to the left of Charlie Checkpoint tu la terletaknya the remains of the Berlin Wall.... I didnt expect that the wall was only that big/high... I was imagining something not as big as Great Wall of China (defimitely not!) but at least it looks sturdy and firm... Rupa2nya setakat concrete wall biasa jer... Aku rasa arwah abah aku buat concrete wall lagi power! Hehehe..


Tapi oklah tu kan... Dah jadik bahan sejarah pun Berlin Wall tu... Agaknya construction cost to build wall at that time was extremely expensive and bukan sikit2 tu dorang nak buat... Panjanggg tuu... So, as long as it served the purpose dah la kan... Hehehehe...


Kesian aku tengok apa dah jadik kat Berlin Wall ni... Banyak sangat yang dah rosak macam sengaja aje dijahanamkan oleh orang2 yang tak bertanggungjawab... Vandalism pulak jangan cakaplah... Memang tercemar sungguh! I guess thats the solid reason why the town council decide to put up fencing around it... Sebelum peninggalan sejarah zaman komunis ni terkubur begitu sahaja kan...





A few pieces of the wall can also be found here and there around that area.... Macam kat dalam gambo bawah ni, we found it just outside the museum of Charlie Checkpoint...


You can also find a small chunk of the concrete (claimed to be taken from the real Berlin Wall) packed in a round container and sold as souvenir at the gifts shops... But the price is ridiculously high! They sold it for €13.50 per piece! Saiznya adalah beso sikit jer pada ibu hari tangan aku yang gemuk nih! Gilerrr mahalll!!

Ntah yea ntah tidak la tuh dorang amek from the original remains of the Berlin Wall... Buleh caya ker? Ishhh doubtful betol!!


Tapi memang bukan tu jer yg mahal... Semua souvenirs kat sini mahal2 belaka! Plak tuh macam tak berbaloi aje aku rasa nak beli harga memahal dengan quality barang nyer yg tak best langsung...

So, kali ni memang takde souvenirs pun yang aku beli for family and frens dari Berlin... Jangan tertekan haaa... Selalu aku pasti beli kan tapi not this time laaa... Cikai sangat souvenirs tu semua... Malu nak kasi kat orang! *wink wink*
